UniOuter follows a structured sample development process so cost stays controlled and the approved sample can genuinely be reproduced in bulk.
The workflow:
- 1. Client request: you send a tech pack, sketch, reference sample or photos, plus target market, budget and delivery date.
- 2. Design review: our team studies the requirements and recommends the most cost-effective fabric and construction, flagging anything that would raise cost or risk.
- 3. Material selection: available fabrics and trims are matched to the style. Using existing materials is the fastest and cheapest route, and special developments are quoted separately.
- 4. Sample making: the sample is cut and sewn in 7-14 working days, faster when stock fabric is used.
- 5. Client feedback and revision: you review the sample with photos, video and the specification sheet, and we revise until fit and function are right.
- 6. Final sample approval: the approved sample is signed off and sealed as the golden reference for bulk production.
Cost control focuses on using available fabrics, minimising rework and precise QC on sizing and functionality such as waterproofing, windproofing and breathability.
Each round produces a written record: fabric and trim references, measurements, colour codes, construction notes and your comments. That record becomes the manufacturing standard, which is why the approved sample and the bulk shipment stay aligned.
